Puddingstone Park

Carved into a hillside of existing ledge, this landscape celebrates the material character of the site by repurposing stone from on-site blasting into both architectural and garden masonry. Bluestone pathways and terraces circulate around the residence, creating smooth transitions between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. Swaths of native plantings define the sequence of outdoor spaces and frame outward views across open green space, edged by a woodland backdrop, allowing the home and gardens to feel native to the hillside rather than imposed on it.
