Established in 2014, MSC’s growth into one of New England’s most trusted site work, masonry and landscape companies is a testament to the dedicated team of professionals constantly ensuring quality of process and product from each project’s kickoff through completion. The company has completed over two hundred projects throughout New England because of the commitment from the staff of project managers, site supervisors and excellent crews.

Mike Coffin
Owner

Michael Coffin has built a construction firm/company based upon superior craftsmanship, professional project management, and streamlined communication. With those three building blocks as his foundation, he has been successful in establishing deep-rooted relationships with the region’s most recognized builders, landscape architects, architects, and designers. Committed to quality, Mike is involved in every phase of the project from the initial site visit throughout construction into maintenance and fine gardening. He has a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mike is a licensed Construction Supervisor (CSL) in Massachusetts and Rhode Island as well as a Certified Massachusetts Landscape Professional (MCLP).

Chris Boshar
Director of Development  

Chris Boshar has been an integral piece of MSC since the company’s inception. A key contributor to the company’s initial business plan, Chris continues to help shape the company’s current and future business models. Chris supports MSC’s internal operations through an extensive education curriculum that is continually refined as the company grows into new areas of construction types, means, and methods. External operation roles include the creation and management of social media and marketing content, development of the company’s brand, and organization of the company’s charitable efforts. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts. Previous professional work includes working for Contemporary Landscapes on Martha’s Vineyard, followed by a role in real estate as an underwriter at Boston Capital.

Geoff Uva
Director of Horticulture 

With more than 25 years of experience, Geoff has an extensive background in the landscape industry, particularly in horticulture. Prior to working at MSC, Geoff was the Assistant General Manager of Bigelow Nurseries overseeing everything from production to integrated pest management. As well as an accomplished certified horticulturist (MCH), he also held a committee chair of the Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist Program. Geoff has a degree in Landscape Construction from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Dylan Higgins
Transportation Supervisor

Dylan started at MSC as a summer intern, working in our construction division. The following year he began working with our site construction and trucking division where he quickly excelled. His organizational skills are put to good use as our transportation supervisor responsible for the dispatching and coordination of daily trucking and material delivery. Dylan has a Class A CDL and his hoisting license.

Armando Viera
Site Supervisor

Armando has been in the construction industry for 20 years, performing various site development, masonry, and landscape work. Coming from a long family lineage of stonemasons, he brings a great passion for his craft. Armando has an artisan’s eye for detail and holds a high standard of quality craftsmanship from his crews. He is well versed in a variety of building materials and applications, and stays up to date with the most recent building methods.

Dan Keirstead
Production Manager

As a production manager, Dan leads our office with construction support services. His attention to detail and his technical background make him instrumental in developing shop drawings and specification reviews that are ultimately responsible for bringing a design to fruition. Dan has a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Jake Rahmeier 
Director of Preconstruction

Jake brings a broad spectrum of construction estimating experience to MSC. Prior to MSC Jake worked for some of the largest construction companies in the country, including Turner Construction and Consigli Construction. His multidisciplinary background has made him very knowledgeable about the construction process as a whole and has been the key to his success. Jake graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Construction Management.

Chris Macia
Financial Controller

Chris brings extensive background in accounting that has spanned a multitude of industries. As financial controller, he oversees the company financials while also managing the Human Resources component of the business. Chris has a B.A. in accounting from Bryant University.

Paul Beigbeder
Project Manager

Paul has over 20 years of experience in all phases of landscape construction and development. Through his time working with several premier landscape construction firms in the New England area, he has honed and refined his appreciation and aptitude for executing complex projects to completion by using collaborative construction strategies, and by forming effective communication pathways among design teams, contractors, and labor force to bring designs to life.

Peter Graham
Site Supervisor

With more than 20 years of experience, Peter has an extensive background in site development as a site supervisor. His experience ranges from land clearing, ledge blasting, and foundation work to large drainage systems, ponds, and wetland remediation. As a Site Supervisor, his ability to orchestrate project logistics regardless of complexity makes him a valuable member of our team. Peter is a licensed Massachusetts Construction Supervisor.
