The William Cook House is an 1877 brick veneered Queen Anne, designed by Longfellow's nephew. This historical landmark situated on an acre lot in Cambridge's Huron Village underwent extensive renovations. The landscape compliments interior renovations by accommodating the needs of a modern lifestyle with traditional materials. Ashlar-patterned bluestone terraces and patios surround the residence providing a smooth transition from the interior floor plan into the outdoors. New England fieldstone walls retain bordering topography. A native woodland plant pallet defines the property edges and garden spaces while providing this historic property with an established deep-rooted look.
