Michael S. Coffin LLC is a landscape construction and horticultural management firm specializing in high-end residential properties throughout New England. We partner with top-tier landscape architects and design teams to bring detailed planting plans to life through craftsmanship and a deep understanding of best landscape practices.

We’re hiring a motivated and detail oriented Planting Crew Member to join our field team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in working outdoors, is eager to learn proper planting techniques, and thrives as part of a team that values quality and professionalism on every site.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planting operations, including site prep, layout, and installation

  • Handle and place plant material with care and accuracy

  • Follow direction from crew leaders and supervisors to execute plans efficiently

  • Operate hand tools and landscape equipment safely

  • Maintain a clean and organized job site

  • Support overall project goals with a positive and reliable work ethic

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in planting or landscape installation preferred, but not required

  • Willingness to learn proper planting techniques and landscape best practices

  • Comfortable working outdoors in a physical, team-based role

  • Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic
